HTC Titan 2 Release Date and Price on AT&T Announced

Windows phones don’t cause the same kind of stir that we’ve come to expect from the likes of Android and Apple, but that isn’t to say they aren’t worth a look or even consideration when it comes to investing in a new handset.   Course, we’d never suggest you’d jump ship from Android to Windows Mobile, but if you’re still on a feature phone you might wanna have a gander at the HTC Titan II.

This phone hits AT&T stores on April 8th, the same day the Nokia Lumia 900 will become available.  The Titan II will cost $ 199.99 on contract, but as always, expect the price to take a nose dive a few weeks after launch, if not less.  That said, this handset boasts a massive camera on its backside, capturing photos to the tune of 16 megapixels with an f-stop of f/2.6.   Not too shabby for a phone.  There is also a massive 4.7-inch touchscreen (800×480), 16GB of built-in memory, a 1.5Ghz processor, a 1730mAh battery and much more.

BTW, we told you the original launch date was March 18th.  Clearly we were wrong.
